Team Saskatchewan ID Camps 2021

Attention all players aged 15 and 16 years of age (2006 and 2005 birth years) :

Team Saskatchewan is once again preparing to identify players for the 2022 Canada Summer Games in Niagara, Ontario August 7-13 and the 2023 Canada Cup which will be held in Regina.

We will be hosting the following ID camps. Players only have to attend one of the following:

August 3rd – 9:00am – 4:00 pm – Currie Field, Regina.

August 17th – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm – Cairns Field, Saskatoon

August 24th – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm – Currie Field, Regina

$20 fee to attend these camps to help us recover our costs.

Please email [email protected] to reserve a spot for one of the above camps.

If you are attending the Prep Baseball Report Camps being held in Saskatoon, August 26 and 27th, you don’t have to attend the above camps. I will be there to evaluate at those camps. At the end of these camps, Team Sask coaches will be picking a team that will be travelling to Lethbridge, Alberta to compete at a tournament during the September long weekend (Sept 3-6).

We will also be choosing a larger roster to attend our annual spring training in Vero Beach, Florida in April at the Jackie Robinson Complex. After spring training we will have a roster set for the Best of the West Tournament in Kamloops at the end of April where we get to play against some of the best talent in Western Canada.

Team Sask coaches will continue evaluating players during the course of the 2022 season and a Canada Summer Games roster will be announced at the end of June. We are defending gold medal winners at the 2017 Canada Summer games as we played in front of over 4,000 people to capture the top prize. This tournament featured Team Sask players Logan Hofmann draft pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates now in the Pirates system, Connor Sparks draft pick of the Milwaukee Brewers, and Garrett Hawkins draft pick of the San Diego Padres.
